Bio: 

Chris Mapes, a Castle High School graduate with over 25 years in the advanced imagery community, has been a trailblazer in award-winning advanced visualization technologies that have shaped the future of content production. His career includes industry firsts both locally and globally, blending decades of on-set experience and remote broadcast systems with his credentials as a DP and producer.  


Chris's portfolio features iconic projects such as "The Hunger Games", "Jurassic World", "Bill Nye", and "Godzilla". Over the past five years, he has focused on leveraging technology, including AI and data integration, to drive awareness, workforce training, and sustainable business development in Hawaii. Through partnerships with government and DOD contracts, his mission is to retain local talent, keep resources in the community, and pave the way for future generations.

Roundtables lunch is not provided but refreshments are, plus parking is validated.
